I'm New Here Too

I moved to Northern Liberties from South Jersey in January 2026. We chose this area because you can tell just by driving through that it has a vibe. It’s extremely walkable, with tons of places to visit and restaurants to try, and it really embodies the best of Philadelphia.

What I didn’t have was a place to start. Where to get coffee, who to call when something breaks, what trash day is, where to park, which dentist to go to: none of it is hard, but all of it is new, and all of it comes at once.

New To Northern Liberties is the guide I wanted on day one. It’s free, and it covers the practical stuff and the places worth knowing in the neighborhood. Every business listed is in Northern Liberties, with a few exceptions for home services like plumbers, movers and dog walkers that serve the neighborhood from elsewhere.
